About
Dan Bones began tattooing in New York in 2010, and has branched out as a multidisciplinary artist whose work ranges from tattooing, oil and watercolor painting, commercial illustration, animation and art direction. He is currently tattooing full time at Memoir Tattoo in West Hollywood, and specializes in illustrative and technical black and grey work. He most recently was the production designer on Dave Paige’s short film “Cuxball,” which premiered at the 2023 Dances With Films fest in LA, and was the art director and set designer for a series of Jurassic World toy commercials for Mattel. He has animated music videos for the bands Red Fiction and Antivillain, and released an EP with his own band, Hyper Psychic. He is currently living with his wife and two dogs in Los Angeles.
